Henry Wadsworth Longfellow wrote,
Silently, one by one, in the infinite meadows of Heaven,
Blossom the lovely stars, the forget-me-nots of the angels.
In a German legend God named all the plants when a tine unnamed one cried out,
"Forget-Me-Not, O Lord!" God replied, "that shall be your name."
Welcome to my late Tuesday tea, getting ready for a rehearsal party tomorrow evening, or I guess I should say tonight, so have been hectic, I did take the time for tea though, so welcome-pull up a chair and we will enjoy it outside, what a glorious day.
Fridays auction I got two new Royal Albert dishes with the pattern of forget -me-not, knew I had two cups and saucers at home that I got last year, so had to get them, (last year Terri from Artful Affirmations did a tea on these same cups, two weeks later we had them at auction and was the lucky buyer of the two).
Forget-me-not flower, but not sure-Ruthie will know????
forget-me-not title with flowers in among it..
